Singer, dancer and entertainer from Argentina and Spain who performs at Spanish manga and anime conventions, online or in-person events dedicated to J-Pop idols, live streaming platforms such as YouTube and Twitch and other social networks. She also collaborates as an expert on J-idols with Manga Barcelona, ​​the largest manga and anime convention in Spain. She is also the coordinator of IDOL CONTEST (since 2019), the creator of IDOL MATSURI (both held at Manga Barcelona) ​​and J-Pop Party!.

Her performances include a repertoire based on J-Pop, Anison and J-Idols songs that are carefully studied and rehearsed to transmit the same passion and energy as the originals but with a personal touch. She also currently performs her own original songs, all inspired by Japanese pop music.

Biography

bunny☆kaisui is a solo singer, dancer and entertainer who has been performing J-Pop (Japanese pop) and Anison (anime music) songs since 2006. She regularly participates in dance competitions and exhibitions at different conventions related to Japanese culture. She also encourages the public to participate by making wotagei.​

From an early age she was interested in anime music and quickly became interested in Japanese pop, especially Japanese female idols and artists. That is why she likes to collect DVDs and Blu-rays of concerts of her favorite groups, as well as attending concerts in Japan.

She is active on social media, especially YouTube and Instagram, where she frequently shares her singing and dancing covers. She is one of the co-founders of IDOL⋆ROMANCE, a community of idol enthusiasts that helped spread idol culture and wota in Spain between 2009 and 2015. Together with IDOL⋆ROMANCE, organized everything from wotagei workshops, idol cover contests, exhibitions, screenings and even an event in Barcelona for fans of J-Pop idols.

To complement her performances, she designs and makes her own stage outfits, which are inspired by Japanese fashion and the costumes of her favorite groups and singers.

Since her first solo performance in 2011, some of her covers have been broadcaste on the music program J-MELO (NHK World TV), thus receiving the award for best singer ("Singer Search Video Special Award") of 2012 and praise from the artists to whom she pays tribute to.

In 2015 she made her first performance in Akihabara (Japan), along with other J-Pop idols. In 2017 she signed with a Japanese record label and made her debut with a digital EP of covers of anime songs. The following year, she released her first physical CD EP.

At the 24th edition of the Barcelona Manga Fair in 2018, she was able to perform as the opening act of the first edition of the IDOL CONTEST, a competition for versions/covers of J-Pop idols. There she had the honor of collaborating with former NMB48 member, Emika Kamieda (who, like bunny, participated as judge of the contest that year) by performing one of the most iconic NMB48's songs "Seishun no Lap Time".

In 2019, she was able to fulfill another dream: releasing her first original song. In collaboration with composer Sakagami Souichi from Japan, she released "Sore ga zenbu, yume ni tsunagaru" (それが全部、夢につながる), a song that talks about believing in the process, your work and effort to fulfill your dreams. That same year, she had the opportunity to perform as opening act for AKB48 who were the guests at the 25 Manga Barcelona. Since that year, she became the coordinator of IDOL CONTEST, where she has participated since then both as a presenter and as a judge along with AKB48 and other artists from Spain such as RUKI and aiRis.

After all conventions were canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19, she began holding online concerts on streaming platforms such as YouTube, Twitch and SHOWROOM, in addition to actively participating in other online events from all over the world, which helped her gain more international recognition.

In 2022 she had the opportunity to perform abroad again, specifically in Seattle (USA) at Northwest Idol Fest, a three-day convention about idols, anison and J-Pop. The following year, she was able to return to Seattle and perform for the first time her second original song “Mouretsu ☆ Zenryoku dasshu!” (猛烈☆全力ダッシュ！), composed and produced by All Might Studio of Italy.

In December 2023, she released her third original song “DRAMATIC SCENE” produced by Lunatic Parfait from Indonesia. bunny performed it for the first time live at the IDOL MATSURI, a festival of J-Pop idols and artists held at Manga Barcelona, ​​created and organized by herself along with other collaborators.

In July 2024, she produced her first event in Barcelona: J-Pop Party! by bunny☆kaisui. The event, inspired by underground idol events in Japan and other countries such as Peru, USA,..., included performances by different local J-Pop groups and soloists. The day before the event, bunny released her first physical single and self-produced CD, which contained her last two original songs up to that date.

As for the future, she hopes to collaborate with artists from all over the world and create original music and dances, as well as continue performing her favorite J-Pop songs!
